1.            The Vida Surf Store

 

What to Expect

The Vida Surf store is one of our all-time favourites and a fab little cafe that offers amazing smoothie bowls, coffees and healthy food. If you've been to Bali and loved the food there - this place will not disappoint!

In fact, they actually have a sister cafe in Bali - The Loft Bali that was previously voted the best new cafe in Bali. They offer an amazing all-day breakfast options including superfood green omelettes, standard smashed avo, an incredible vegan breakfast and cracking breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, provolone cheese, black beans and bacon in a green wrap!

If you're not one for breakfast (unlikely) or fancy lunch, we must admit their lunch-time menu is also AMAZING! Offering fresh dishes from smoked salmon quinoa bowls to incredible poke bowls and burgers! Or if you want something sweet their smoothie bowls, quinoa porridge, the loft waffles and French toast will NOT disappoint.

2.            The Lox Stock & Barrel Deli Diner

 

What to Expect

This tasty eatery is ideal whether you're looking to grab an early brunch or head back for an evening meal! They offer opening times from 7am - 3:30pm for breakfast & lunch 7 days a week and also reopen for dinner. Their modern take on a deli, means you'll have something simple but delicious to eat that's been prepared using local and seasonal produce. They believe in getting as much "farm to plate" as possible and believe balance is key when it comes to good eating and enjoying food.

The menu here offers a huge selection of choice from zucchini omelette & French toast for brekky to homemade brisket pastrami sandwiches and cauliflower freekeh salads for lunch.

And dinner certainly doesn't disappoint with starters such as veggie platters, mains including a rangers valley flank steak and crispy skin barramundi and indulgent desserts like butterscotch pot-de-creme.

This place is great if you're looking to be healthy but indulge and enjoy the finer side of food.

3.            The Good One

 

What to Expect

The Good One cafe in Bondi offers a great place to relax and chow down on a sunny or rainy day. To really bring a fresh taste to your plate, they focus on sourcing fresh ingredients every day, transforming them into fantastic meals & drinks. Not only that, but they even take the time to enhance and create some of their own ingredients. They smoke their own meat & fish and produce their own dairy free almond milk - Good Mylk. This place is great whether you're looking for healthy salad and meal or having a cheeky Sunday cheat! The Good One is open super early at 6:30am and closes at 4pm - it's also open 7 days a week!

4.            Bare Naked Bowls

 

What to Expect

Just down the road from Bondi on the Bondi to Coogee costal walk route you'll find a great little spot in Bronte! If you're looking for a taste of Summer or something to take you back to Bali - we think you need to try Bare Naked Bowls! These guys use only delicious fresh ingredients and specialize in smoothies, acai bowls, cold pressed juices and other raw treats.

If you've never tried a smoothie bowl before - you are missing out! The Bare Bowls we tried were perfect for a warm day and also a great refreshment post workout.

What's more, by eating here, you'll be supporting a non-profit charity - The International brother & Sisters House which supports orphan children in Nepal and Tanzania to get higher education.

 

Our Favourite Dishes:

The Island Bowl - acai berry, pineapple, mango, banana and organic coconut milk, topped with banana, strawberry, passion fruit, coconut yogurt & bush honey (we paid a little extra for granola too!).

We also loved the Matcha Green tea Latte!

5.            Harry's Bondi

 

What to Expect

Located in the North of Bondi is the warm and welcoming restaurant and cafe - Harry's. To really give you a taste of Sydney, Harry's sources their fresh ingredients locally and have created a great menu for Brunchers and Breakfast enthusiasts! The menu offers a ton of choices - perfect for if you're looking for a healthy weekend, or ready to let loose!

Try a tasty peanut butter jelly smoothie or breakfast cocktails with traditional eggs benedict or their famous Bondi burger! They open between 7am - 4pm, so don’t leave it too late!

 

Our Favourite Dishes:

Grassy Knoll Smoothie - pineapple, kale, banana, coconut, mint & vanilla protein, and on a cheat day - the Bondi burger of course!
