What does high stim pre-workout do?
These powerful supplements are designed to give you an intense boost of energy and focus before you hit the gym, allowing you to power through even the toughest workouts with ease. With high levels of caffeine and other potent stimulants, these supplements promote maximum focus, energy, concentration, and intensity. These formulas also contain high doses of L-citrulline and beta-alanine to support endurance, delayed fatigue, blood flow, and resistance training (Maksymenko, O. 2023).
Is high-stim pre-workout safe?
In general, a high-stimulant pre-workout should be safe as long as you consume the recommended serving and don’t consume other stimulants during the day. It is important to consider you’re own health and lifestyle when consuming high-stim pre-workouts, as these formulas tend to deliver the RDI of caffeine in one serving. If you experience any unwanted side effects, immediately discontinue use and consult a GP. If you have any issues surrounding high blood pressure or heart rate, we don’t recommend a high-stim pre-workout. Additionally, we recommend starting all high-stim pre-workouts at a half serving to test your tolerance (Smith, A. 2023).
What is the difference between low stim and high stim pre-workout?
The stimulants. High-stim pre-workouts contain up to/over double the stimulants of a low-stim pre-workout. High-stim pre-workouts promote intense energy, endurance, focus, and contain high doses of stimulants and ingredients that promote muscle vasodilation. In contrast, low-stim pre-workouts often contain between 150mg to 200mg.
How often should you take a high-stim pre-workout?
You should not exceed one (1) serving of a high-stim pre-workout within a 24-hour period. These formulas are best taken with 600-800ml of water 20-30 minutes before training.
